Replacement for HIIT Cardio?

This is a strange question but any advice anyone can offer would be really appreciated. I usually do HIIT cardio 3 days a week along with other strength training and steady state cardio workouts. I'm undergoing some medical treatment so for the next couple of weeks I need to dial down the intensity of my workouts but I don't want to lose out on the good weight loss results I've been getting with HIIT. What it the next most effective fat burning exercise I can do besides HIIT that is at a lower intensity? Do I just go slower on my cardio but do longer sessions to get the same calorie burns? Any advice/ input would be really appreciated! Thanks!

Yeah thanks that's the only thing I can come up with. I was wondering if there might be any extra options I could do.0

I think not, just do some low cardio training. Eat healthy.
