just wanted to start a thread where us singletons have a good ol fashion (if it still exists lol) banter/fun/jokes, laughs, ups and downs.

Sometimes we need a chat where other people aint around, so we can all meet on ere and have a good chat over a cuppa and have a good time! :laugh: :drinker: :wink:

    Good morning. It's definitely a Monday and I'm at work but the boss is on vacation this week so it's a little better. :drinker:

    Single mom of 2 very busy little boys here and trying to decide what to do with them with the heat index being at 100 all this week.

    Yeah most of my friends are in their 30s too, but we have a group that are still thier 20s partying every weekend. They always invite me over, but I can't do it like that all the time. Those parties get out of hand, but they can be a lot of fun. Of course they can only do it every week like that because they don't know the joys of parenting yet.

    This is ME!!! I realized I was getting older when some friends and I went to a bar/club for a birthday and we were annoyed with all the new 21 yr olds in the club. We were ready to go within an hour.

    This is ME!!! I realized I was getting older when some friends and I went to a bar/club for a birthday and we were annoyed with all the new 21 yr olds in the club. We were ready to go within an hour.

    Yup, I've felt the same way. I was at the bar once with a friend earlier in the evening, just having dinner and a few drinks while it was still pretty calm. Then after 9 p.m., the live music started and all of a sudden, the place was filled with 20-somethings, and I was ready to go. I didn't feel old, though. I have a policy that nothing will make me feel "old!" Maybe more mature/grown-up, but never that three-letter word. :drinker:

    but have you notice the language is way different. even on here it stops me for a seconde to run and google a word like yolo you only live once. i would of never guessed it. but i guess when i was young i used slang to.

    My 15 year old sister lives with me and is my personal urban dictionary. The first time she told me to "Turn Up" I was soooo confused. lol
