I think you have stumbled upon the secret of advertising. Make potential consumers feel less than, provide service to make consumer temporarily feel better about said less-than-ness. Profit.

    Eta spelling

The only thing that annoys me about my husband's back hair is when he tried to convince me to shave/wax it for him.

I love you honey, but not that much.

you must not love him very much at all because waxing a whole back sounds like the most entertaining thing I can imagine.

Also horrendously painful, making it all tge more amusing.

This is too much for me. Otherwise, no. It's all good. I love the fuzz.

it's amazing how clear his neck is...you'd think it'd a blanket all the way up to his shaggy hair...cause you know...hair

Most barbers shave the back of the neck when they do the haircut.

I actually agree with women who don't like it. I started getting some upper back/shoulder hair over the past few years (age: mid 20s) and hate it (gross!), so I remove most of it (but get lazy sometimes and don't). I would consider getting it permenently removed at some point if that sort of thing really works.

Anyone else have the add for NONO hair removal on this thread????

I like a little chest hair or clean shaven, not a big fan of a ton of back hair.

Nope, I have a hair replacement ad

I can't really answer that because I've never been with a man who had it.? That's kind of weird huh? Never once. Ever.

Tend to happen the older you get. Maybe you are dating younger nonhairy guys?

I dislike back hair, very much. I am glad my husband does not have it, but I wonder if he would have been my husband had he had a bunch. It just grosses me out.

It was kind of a slap in the face when I started going bald and grew body hair instead.

I refer to that as my hair drift..

Hair is probably my one big concern on my body. I check ear and nose hair daily. Nothing worse then try to talk to a guy and ear/nose hair look like bird's nests.

I once saw a retired military officer with chest hair sticking out of his uniform at the collar. Sorry, but I don't think that'd pass inspection.

I have a volswagon ad and a dog food ad. Figure that one out.

I had a bad back-hair experience as a young adult (was biting a guy, got a back hair stuck in my teeth, totally grossed me out and killed the mood). So no, I don't like back hair at all, but I know that's because I was traumatized at a young-ish age. Haha

A little is ok, a rug is kind of gross. And you'd rather laser it than shave it because stubble is probably worse than the full out hair (how it feels, at least).

But since any woman worth having will see your attractive personality much more clearly than your attractive-or-not back, it doesn't really matter. :)

Reminds me of when I was a tot crawling around on the floor. Accidently got some of my father's body hair in my mouth and started to gag on it on time. He has since lost a lot of body hair, but now I have it. Apparently in our family it peaks when you're in your 20s/30s and then decreases a few decades later. So at least I have that to look forward to.

It does work; I've had some lasered myself. What they don't tell you in the ads is that it's not forever. It takes 6 treatments initially, then you go back after 3 months, then again after 6 months, then roughly every year after that. Ugh. Still better than shaving all the time, but not the MAJOR solution the commercials make it out to be; you do have to maintain it.

Hairless men look like they are trying too hard. My hubby's fur is one of his more attractive qualities. Find a woman who appreciates you for who you are.

Among his *many* other attractive qualities I hope...

There are some naturally almost hairless men...some northern Brits...many Asians. Even a few Italians, believe it or not. I'm not one. But you can't hate on them just b/c they don't have it.

Some back hair is ok, if it gets too much I would offer to help get rid of it.

Some women find back hair repulsive. Some like it, some don't mind it.
I don't mind it. I like facial hair though, and I know plenty of women who don't like facial hair at all. I'm not a big fan of the "pretty boy" look, although lots of people are. It just depends on the person, but personality is way more important. My husband is hairy, and I have to shave his back in the summer (Ahaha, gross, I'd rather he left it alone but he says it's too hot, lmao) but if he were to suddenly lose all his hair I wouldn't stop loving him or find him repulsive. It's just hair, it isn't who he is. Same with all guys, it's hair. That shouldn't be a deciding factor. lol.

A man with a hairy back? Nope I just couldn't

    Me either.

Ok. .but would you be willing to do the heavy lifting to keep it clean. I mean, if he had a great personality, was a good dancer, and had a cool car

Me either...and after seeing that pic of the guy looking like he has a sweater on I'm thankful. That would be an awkward moment..."I've suddenly got to leave NOW.." My hubs has very little hair and I couldn't be happier. Never realized I needed to be thankful for that until this thread. No offense to hairy guys...clearly there's tons of chicks in to/not bothered by large amounts of body hair..I'm just not one of them.

My wife thinks her back hair is annoying when it gets caught in her bra hook or bikini tie.

It's only annoying when I'm snuggling up to go to sleep and every time I inhale it tickles my nose.

My hunk-o-love is moderately hairy over the top of his shoulders and on his lats. Sometimes it gets to be a little much (kinda like a gal than goes "au naturale" and has more than average)...not a dealbreaker, but I like it better when it's NOT like that.

The thing that "annoys" me is that he only asks me to shave it when someone ELSE might actually see it (like if we go to the beach with friends, not just us....).

Really? I've never been with a man (full grown man, anyway) who didn't have at least a little.
