    I really like this girl! OP, I had a date set up with a guy and I thought he was standing me up. Turned out his dad had a stroke and was in the hospital. We ended up meeting up later that night.

    Maybe OP's date saw that scary boat party gif from the 402 thread? IDK. I'm kind of turned off to boating for awhile after that. Maybe she wants to see how he'd drive a CAR first.

    In all honesty OP I was usually intimidated by over the top first dates when I dated. I felt pressured to put out or also always needed an escape hatch on first dates. I can tell you right now I would have felt nervous boarding a guy's boat the first time we "mingled". Maybe she didn't know what to say because it sounds ungrateful but then she got nervous. So she just got avoidey and weird.

    Had a beach and boating day planned today. Beautiful day on the beach was planned for a 1st date with what I thought was a gorgeous lady. Too bad she never showed up and won't return my message now. :(

    Did I get stood up or maybe she got kidnapped on her way to the beach?

    Do I drink the 2 bottles of wine by myself now? :)

    Hopefully she didn't get kidnapped, I wouldn't have stood you up ;)
