Heart rate monitor recommendations??

I'm sorry, I missed this. The polar Ft 7 or 60 are great options. Just make sure it tracks calories lol. I made that mistake purchasing my first monitor.

If you go with Polar, pay attention to which model. Some you can change the battery on yourself and others have to go to a service center. I've had mine a year an a half and just had to change the watch battery. If that had involved mailing it far away it would have been a much bigger inconvenience. I really like Polar.

I currently have a Garmin, which links with my gym's cardio point computer program that tells me what and how much fat, cals, etc. I'm burning during exercise. With the Polar, some gyms it'll link with their treadmills.

I have the Polar FT60 and it's great. You can also replace the battery by yourself wich save you 25$ and time. It has the star training more , it gives you a goal of how long you should workout and how many calories to burn.
