What's next ... coliflower bacon?!?!?!
That sounds actually good! Let's add bacon in those hot dogs, and then we'd have a winner!0 -

I have an easier and probably tastier alternative that I read about years ago in Men's Health.
Take a medium carrot, peel and then sculpt the ends into a hotdog shape. Put in a small pot of water with some barbeque sauce added to the water. Simmer until the carrot is fairly soft. Slap on a bun and add all the fixings (it's just a carrot if you don't add fixings) like ketchup, relish, mustard, chopped onion, and grated cheese. Enjoy! Your mouth will hardly know the difference. Really!
mine's easier cause no sculpting. and funner cause you grill the carrots. yeah like just like at the same time your outside grilling everyone else's weiners. and the carrot weiner never gets soft. it stays nice and stiff. so yeah better cause stiff too.0 -
This pretty much sums up my thoughts on this idea.0 -
This is the funniest thing I have ever seen!
What can't the humble cauliflower do???0 -
It's cauliflower aspic!0

Let's see if it passes the kids test. Usually, if it's shaped like a sausage, they're happy0

we threw that DEATHBOX out!!!0 -
Also, I like "traditional American fare" but it always has too much bread, not enough protein and not enough vegetables. So why not wrap that bish in bacon, cover it with chili and fat-free cheese, put it on a light bun and call it a balanced friggin' meal?!
But since I'm the spinach assassin, can I make this with spinach instead? Then it really WOULD be soylent green! :devil:0 -
