Austin, TX Newcomer who needs to lose weight

Hi. I just moved to Austin, TX from Brooklyn, NY. I've always been chubby but as I hit my late thirties I'm getting fat. I need to lose weight for my sanity but also because I'm getting married in October. Anyone out there who wants to get together for fun outdoor (or indoor) exercise?
