Old Geezers

From Wikipedia: Geezer is a term for a man. It can carry either the connotation of age and eccentricity or, in the UK, that of self-education such as craftiness or stylishness.

Well for me the term geezer means you're beyond your youth and heading into the sunset of life. And from here the view is pretty cool. I'm a 55 year old runner who needs to loose a few lbs. I'm using the Medifast program to do it along with cardio and weight training. If you're a runner looking for partners or just need encouragement I'd love to hear from ya...
Happy Trails~

No runner here. You look pretty good for an old geezer.

61 here - I use a recumbant bike for about 75 minutes. Weightlift as well and feel better now than I did 20 years ago.

It's good that you have a sense of humor about yourself. You look good. I don't know that older men want to reclaim "Geezer," though.

Not a geezer here, but a runner for sure. Feel free to add if you would like. :flowerforyou:

Although I am a geezerette, I am working hard on improving my health, and I'm winning the battle! I have stopped looking toward the sunset and planted my feet firmly in mid-afternoon. I haven't felt this well in at least 10 years.

I'm a refurbished 68, soon to be 69, by the way.

I run, but I'm not sure if I'm al runner. My joints don't always appreciate it. I may focus on weights in the fall. anyway, welcome you old geezer! (i'm 52)
