In need of advice

Hi all, I'm in need of a little advice. I recently started using MFP and it took me awhile to start meeting my daily calories goal. But I think i finally have it down. I feel like I'm eating a perfect amount but when I look it over it looks like so much food! Does it matter how much I am eating in order to get to my 1200 calories? Also, am i eating healthy enough to lose weigh? If you could please look over my food diary for yesterday, today and tomorrow and tell me what you think, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks

I would be tracking protein as well, were I you. The amount of food that you eat is irrelevant, provided that your total calories and macros (protein, fat and carbs) are in line with your goals. What percentage breakdown are you using? If you want to feel better about amount of food, take a look at what I eat - it's a very long list each day. You'll lose weight as long as you eat at a deficit. I subscribe to the "if it fits your macros" way of thinking, which means that I can eat whatever I want, provided that I can still get all of my protein, fats and carbs in the remaining calories. I do try to eat a variety of foods, including fresh fruits and veggies, because I want to make sure I get all of the nutrients I need, but this is irrelevant to weight loss. You could lose on nothing but twinkies, if you ate at a deficit, but you'd probably feel like crap by the end. Hope that sets your mind at ease a bit.0

your diary looks really good - balanced, tasty, and you're clearly not doing silly things. I'd add in more water and track your exercise as well, other than that go you!
You say it's baby weight - remember that if you're breastfeeding that burns calories too so you'd need to eat extra.
SO if 1200 is over your BMR I would say you're probably on the right track0 -
