30lbs Lost - the photo that started it all

I went on vacation in August of 2012 and my husband snapped me on the beach. I had been unaware of exactly where I was at in my health and fitness, but that photograph cleared up any misconceptions that I was doing 'OK'. I needed a change. The inset at left is me in the same suit and shorts July of 2013. I have lost more than 30lbs.

I am still not sure if I am done (a matter of say 5 or 6 lbs) but think the progress has been pretty good.

Also, super impressed that I have the balls to post this here.

    It took a picture for me to do something about my health and fitness. They are very good motivators. The hard work and commitment that you have has produced amazing results! Congrats so far and continue to inspire all those around you as well as those that believe it cannot be done.

    Awesome!! This speaks to me so much, as I was about where you were when you started and almost 20lbs down now, 10 to go! My back was my worst area too!

    ALSO, how the heck are you 41? Not buying it :)
