I eat a whole bunch of it. My question is, because i tend to eat so much fruit, i go over quite often on suger. Is the suger from fruit, such as watermelon, or cantalope all that bad?My thought is, its fruit, its good for you, but am i screwing up my diet by eating too much?

Unless you have a medical reason to monitor your sugar intake, don't worry about it.
Just in case you weren't aware of this feature, when you go to the message boards section, there is a button called search and you can type in a keyword/phrase (ex: sugar) and you can see the threads that have already been created on the topic. Good luck! :flowerforyou:

Back to the original topic, I eat several servings of fruit per day...it's the only sugar I consume. I don't even pay attention to it. In fact, on my food log, I took that off so I don't even see it! You're getting so many good things from fruit - carbs and fiber included!0

Let me try....:flowerforyou: :smooched: Unless you are a diabetic, you probably don't have any reason to worry about eating too much fruit. Even though it has lots of sugar your calorie counts should be the only thing that matters to your weight loss.:glasses: :flowerforyou: If you notice that you don't have enough calories to get enough protein and/or fats you might feel hungrier and have a hard time feeling satisfied. But overall it won't affect your ability to lose weight the excessive sugar from fruits. :flowerforyou: So go ahead and enjoy your fruit as much as you want and if you have some weird side effects in the bathroom which I will not go into here cause :blushing: it's okay too, it's just the lot's of fruit and waters and fiber they contain and might actually result in your feeling freer and lighter very rapidly but is not an overall indication of "cleansing" or huge weight loss just the movement of unneeded things from our bodies. :flowerforyou: Feel free to also enjoy your fruit in juice form just know that it will possess no magical qualities thusly sorry :ohwell: but it will still be yummy and also note that minus the fiber it won't be as satiaing for as long either. Also the lack of chewing may not let your brain understand you have "eaten" and the calories will not perhaps feel as worthy to you? Overall though fruit is our friend. We love it whole or broken :brokenheart: but we just love it no matter what and do not fear it. The end. Good luck on your Journey. :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:          :glasses: :glasses: :glasses: :glasses: :glasses: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou::flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :smooched: :smooched: :smooched: :smooched: :smooched: :smooched: :smooched: :smooched: :smooched: :smooched: :smooched: :smooched: :smooched: :smooched: :smooched: :smooched: :smooched: :drinker: :drinker: :drinker: :drinker: :drinker: :drinker: :drinker: :smooched: :smooched: :smooched: :smooched: :smooched: :smooched: :smooched: :smooched:                    :happy:0 -

Dont' eat it!! Instead send it to me! I'll eat it for you! Then you have no worries and I have more yummy fruit to eat!! win win!!!0 -
I recommend moderation. Too much of even a good thing, isn’t a good thing. Fruit does have calories, so there’s a weight management issue. Too much fruit can also put you at risk for elevated triglycerides among other things. For those with prediabetes or diabetes servings of fruit, and all carbohydrate, must be monitored. Aim for 2 to 4 servings of fruit per day. Examples of serving sizes are a small piece of whole fruit, ½ banana, ¾ cup of blueberries, ½ grapefruit, 17 small grapes and 2 level tbsp of raisins.
