I know that I have lost weight, and people have been making comments about it etc, I only have one pair of jeans that I can wear as the others are all too big now, but these jeans are my 'too small for a couple of years' jeans, they are a UK size 14 and I thought they looked ok...until I saw this picture of me putting up our new tent!

    Thank you all so much, it was seeing myself from 'behind' that really showed me how far I have come.

    My lovely girl (younger daughter) is at uni studying to be a nurse, we are going to visit her tomorrow, to help her move house etc.

    You look amazing.

    I think pictures are funny. When I lost weight after 1st daughter and before my 2nd I thought I was gross and was unhappy. My sister took a picture of me and today I am trying to achieve the weight I was then. I don't think you ever really seee yourself as you are. My sister is super skinny and thinks she needs to lose weight but I think if she does she will look sick.

    When I get to my goal weight I will be post tons of pictures! Then I will have people that don't know me and aren't afraid to be honest with me tell me if it is a healthy "looking" weight.

    Skeeps, the picture is there for those who do not cut and paste. I just saw the pic and look like she dropped a load in her pants because they are so saggy.. LOL... I know what you mean.. they are definitely too large to wear anymore without some serious seamstress activity. :laugh:

    OK this thread led to a thing happening that I never imagined would happen again.
    I followed the advice given me by ODonna...and late last night I went into my daughters room (the one in the picture, she is away at University, but has left some stuff behind) and I found 4 pairs of jeans, I tried on the first and it was not going to fit, in fact although I got them up, they were NOT going to do up! I looked and they are a size 7! So I then tried on another pair, and these DID do up...then I tried on another pair...and these did up too, then I tried on the last and yes these did too...I took a look at the size label thinking they must be a UK12 (US 10) and no...they are all SIZE 10!!! (US 8) I could not believe it...really could not believe it.

    I have been wearing a pair of them all day today, as we went to the mainland to help my daughter move, I said to her "I am wearing a pair of your jeans" and she said I could have them all as they are old ones she doesn't wear anymore...I now don't have to buy new jeans, I have 3 pairs of jeans, they may not be new, but the fact that they fit me is better than going and spending a £1000 on new clothes!!

    I CAN FIT INTO A SIZE 10.....WOW.....just WOW

    Seriously, I am still so happy that I am in the size 10 jeans that I keep going and shaking my size 10 a** at my husband! lol
