My friend just shared her newest smoothie via facebook (so I haven't tried it yet) and I thought I'd share it here. It sure sounds tasty!!

1 pear, peeled and cubed
1 cup non-fat yogurt
1 tsp honey
1/4 tsp cinnamon
dash of nutmeg
handful of ice

I will have to try this. I love cinnamon and with the apple it should be good.

    My favorite smoothie is
    1 frozen sliced peach
4-6 ounces of non fat yogurt
4-6 ounces of low sugar low calorie orange juice
    Cinnamon to taste.....

Oranges peaches and cinnamon! Oh divine.

Both of these smoothies sound great...but, I am diabetic and both sound like they have way too much sugar and carbs for me. That's been my biggest problem with smoothies, almost all are too high in sugar to be "healthy" for me. I would love some more suggestions that are tasty but bot too high on the glycemic index.

Sounds delicious! I can't have the yogurt, so I'd use Almond Milk instead and add more ice. If that's 2 servings... that's only half my allotted fruit for the day! Thanks for posting it!
