Mine is 8lbs (he's a tiny cat) but it's still enough for me to feel like I'm being choked. He also likes being on my face while I'm sleeping.

The mother of my current cat (she''s 18 now) use to do the same thing. Well more like on my chest. She'd sit there and stare at my face. And if I opened my eyes she''d smack my nose. It's like she was making sure I was sleeping. I'd be lying there all terrified making sure I kept my eyes shut and pretended to stay asleep so she wouldn't attack me lol.
