    I have killed buffalo, cow/bull, lamb, goat, chicken and camel so far for food and ate them. With my own hands. Is this uncommon like this thread suggests?

    I would eat buffalo, but I'm not sure I could kill it.

    I'm in trouble if grocery stores ever close and I can't buy meat.

    bison meat is sold in grocery stores here. so you wouldn't have to actually kill one yourself.

    Honestly I believe it is the only good reason to kill an animal. Have you tried Beefalo? its a crossbreed between Cow and buffalo. Adds a little bit of fat and a whole lot of flavor. So good.

    I would absolutely kill animals myself for food, but I'm in favor of Pleistocene rewilding, so probably not an actual buffalo.

    Hubby and I bought a quarter of buffalo last year- BEST meat ever....low fat and tastes waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than beef (or venison yuk)

    bison are raised the same as cattle here and sold for meat at the grocery store and farmers markets
