Have you ever done something, and immediately after thought, "Wow, I'm (or that was) dumb"?

Case in point, I once tried to go to MFP's website and could not for the life of me remember how to spell "fitness."

Your turn...

Yup when I was 7 I tried to fix a broke lamp that was still plugged in, got electrocuted and almost died. You know what my father told me "tell your mother when she gets home" and he continued to watch his t.v.

I jumped out of a airplane. I remember hanging my feet out of the airplane and thinking at the time wow I'm dumb, wtf is wrong with me, why do I like this stuff.

People later confirmed my thoughts after telling that story and how I had to sign a waver for my life and how careless most of the staff seemed and how the girl ahead of me had her shoot malfunction. Fun times.

    Frequently.

First one that pops to mind is looking for my sunglasses, which I happened to be wearing at the time.

Went to a doctor's office once and kept pushing and pushing on the door. It would not budge! Tried the other side, same problem. With it's huge glass windows, I could see people inside, so I knew it was open. It took me a few minutes to realize what was wrong. PULL, not PUSH the door open.
    Duh.

Just today I asked my 4 year old twins what they wanted for dinner. Of course they both wanted different things AFTER I told them that blueberries were dessert, not dinner! I should know that you just make dinner for four year olds, not ask them what they want! How silly (read dumb) is that?

As a teenager, I got "stuck" in a bathroom on a bus for the exact same reason. When I came out I sure got strange looks!

I keep losing my earphones. So when I came home for the summer, I bought a new one for the plane ride. When I got home, I was switching purses, so I unzipped my other purse and found my barely used earphone in there. And I have another one in my cheerleading bag lol. I seriously cannot live without them!

Yes lol. A favourite story of mine is when I found out what "surround sound" actually meant. I just kind of accepted the term and never really thought about it until one day I was vacuuming my basement shortly after having a new sound system installed. I knocked over a random speaker and thought "oh, that's a weird place for a speaker to be"... it happened twice more before and my thought process was "why are there speakers surrounding... OHHH!" -___- bahahaha. I'm special.
