Any other baby wearing moms? I like to wear my 20 pound 6 month old in my Ergo and go for walks. It's obviously a little more work than just walking on your own. Does anyone know how I would log this?

YAY babywearing! I wore/wear both of my kiddos. My 3.5 year old daughter is tiny (30 pounds) and I still wear her in our Boba or Ergo. I love wraps too!

    Baby-wearing mamas

Thought I was going to read about your teenager wearing your jeans.

Yay baby wearing! I'm usually wearing one (in Ergo) and pushing the other in the stroller. I log it as walking pushing a stroller.

My 3 yr old loves being carried around in my Boba. He's 36 lbs and barely fits in the darn thing, but he loves it! I'll be taking it to DisneyWorld in few months. I hope my back will survive! Ive used it hiking many times, but always just use the fitbit for steps or maybe my HRM for a more technical hike. I would always prefer to underestimate calories than overestimate them. Yay for baby wearing!

My oldest wouldn't let me wear her at all, but I've been wearing my son since day 1. Front carrier first, then he graduated to an aluminum and canvas backpack carrier.I figure it's like that book/movie "Holes". There's a character who carries a pig to the top of a hill every day to drink from a spring. As the pig gets bigger, the character gets stronger.

I wear my baby during walks too. I have an Ergo but I prefer my BabyHawk, which I also used with my son 6 years ago. I log it on a different calculator where I make myself 15 lbs heavier (weight of my baby added to my weight).

I didn't wear my sons, and I'm not a mama.

I push my kids in a jogging stroller. I don't count it any different than jogging. It just gets me a little more of a burn and makes you stronger and more bad *kitten* than normal people.. well in your case bad *kitten* baby wearing. :drinker:
