Hello all!! I am looking for some vegan/vegetarian friends!
I have been vegetarian for 6 years or so now - I tried it back when I has have some serious migraines. When I stopped eating meat, the migraines didn't come as often and then stopped altogether. Yep, I was sold. In the past year or so, I have found that I have a sensitivity to dairy - I don't know if it has always been there and I just didn't pay attention or want to acknowledge it or what, but it's there. So, I have made the decision to cut it out entirely.
I am the only person in my group of friends that is vegetarian, let alone vegan. Most of them can't even wrap their heads around it ... I had a bingo card I would carry around and mark off all the sayings I would hear in a day. LOL!! Even they don't understand and could never do it themselves, they are very supportive.
So I am looking for fellow vegans out there to talk about struggles, recipes and anything else that might come up! Feel free to add me

Hi! I am vegetarian and have been for about 5 years now. I became veggie for moral reasons, loved the taste of meat but the thought of eating something that used to be alive just kinda made me nauseas! I try to limit my dairy as well as it tends not to agree with me, but I love cheese!
I did try veganism for a few months but I just found it too limiting in my lifestyle, I like to go out for lunch sometimes and the vegetarian choices are limited never mind the vegan! So well done to you for becoming vegan!
