I got one of the Weight Watcher digital scales for Xmas. It weighs me 4 pounds heavier than my old $12 spring scale. :ohwell:
I like to weigh daily at the same time every morning. Weight fluctuates, so I'm prepared for the occasional spikes and dips. Although some folks think that is a reason to only weigh weekly, I find it motivational. When it spikes, I get sort of a negative motivation: All that hard work and sacrifice and such poor results... I am motivated to work harder. On the dips, it's a more positive motivation. Seeing that reward of a lower number makes me want to keep working hard.0 -
Be really, really careful. I've read you're only supposed to weight yourself once a week. Well I weigh myself between 3-4 times a day. It's really addicting. Its good to be able to track yourself at home though. Don't get down on yourself though remember 1 gallon of water weighs roughly 5 pounds I think. Just remember water weight will flucuate. Good luck!!0

I'm new to the fitness pal seen.......Hello everyone. I am addicted to this site. I get alot of help reading all the messages........Thanks. I just bought a digital scale from ebay yesterday. I have such a hard time reading the spring scales. I will be weighing myself everyday and writing it down. Then I will see in a weeks time if I lost or gain. A little gain on weigh in will motivate me to either cut down on the intake or increase the output. TTFN0
