I haven't noticed until now

I love eating fresh fruit. So when I first started using MFP I entered in a few different fruits to compare nutrition value. Since I know most fruits are high in sugar, I wanted to find one that was low in sugar and could munch on throughout the day without going over my sugar limit. Well one fruit that I found was blueberries. The nutrition value listed was 24 calories, 0 fat, 0 carbs, 0 sodium, and 0 sugar! Which I just found out today is completely wrong! I ate 3.3 oz today and have already racked up 10 g of sugar. Not to mention I had a homemade green smoothie that I made exactly not to go over my sugar limit. But now I'm over! I wish people would be 100% accurate about posting nutrition facts. I've been eating blueberries everyday so I am glad it hasn't affected my weight loss progress. Sorry for the long rant. I'm just venting I am very disappointed.

Sugar from fruits is better than sugar from processed foods. Don't sweat it.0

I experienced the same thing At least it was from a fruit, though. Good job on watching your sugar intake!0

That's something you always have to look out for on here. A lot of foods have been imported with just the calories and no other information. Look for confirmations or do your own research if something seems off.0

That's why I try to know the calories on everything I eat. If I don't know I pick the highest reasonable calories for the item just to be safe.0

I use my phone and anything with a barcode gets scanned so I get an accurate calorie/nutrition count.0

I don't have a problem with calories. It's just the sugar that gets to me. If I have one cup of 2% milk and two fruits.. I'm already over my limit. That's why I was happy when I saw that blueberries had no sugar. But that was very wrong. I need more snacks that have zero to no sugar. Thanks you for your comments though0
