Today I realized my first NSV: never again do I have to say I weigh more than 400lbs.
wow go you0 -
I got up at 5.30 to do my shred session although I was really tired. My youngest woke up when I had another 6 minutes left but I did not want to take that asan excuse. So I put her on the floor (she's 3 months) and talked to her so she"d be happy till I am done.
My kids got cake today and I didn't take a piece. However, even more importantly, they really liked the frosting, so I tried it. One spoonful. And then I stopped. Usually, it is easier for me to say no that to take a little and then stop. So trying the frosting was very brave but I was sure that I'd be able to stop!0 -

I actually lost a glove on the way to the gym but decided to DL anyway. I'd been stuck at 95lbs forever because I'd jerk the bar w my arms whenever it was heavier than that and didn't want to risk back injury from poor form. Today I did 135lbs easily. I also picked out a higher box for box jumps and did them with no problems. Not bad for someone who has PT on both knees!0 -
I went shopping for the first time in probably more than 6 months, and I'm down 3 full pants sizes since last year!
I was getting frustrated because I went over a month without losing an ounce (after losing 20 lbs over January to June), but now I see that I'm way smaller than I thought, clothes look great, and I'm donating a bunch of stuff that's too big. My bathing suit is too big, my shorts from last year are just plain silly they're so big, and my work pants are so big I could probably have a friend hop in. haha!
And it's all just hard work. No DVDs, no shakes, no pills, no magic bullet. Slow and steady hard work!0 -

I have this weird thing for bony hands/wrists. I think they look elegant and suitable for watches or bracelets. I have never known what it's like to have one before (due to too much fat, lol) but I notice all kinds of new definition on my wrist today XD
Haha, it's kinda weird, but I'm obsessed with little things like that0 -
thanks! I had a little NSV yesterday; my watch (which normally does not move on my wrist) had a slight movement ...the band is getting loser! :-)0

My NSV for today is that I woke up with my normal level of energy and walked on my treadmill for an hour and 15 minutes. What makes it a victory is that for the last two days I've been feeling exhausted and achy so I hadn't exercised at all. I think I had a bug but in any case, being back to my more energetic self is a victory to me!!0

I've only bought one pair of jeans in a smaller size since I started losing weight. I already have to wear a belt with them!0

Had a huge (to me) NSV this morning. My phone has been dead for the past two days, so no pedometer or Google music. I wasn't feeling very motivated to get out and do my usual morning walk. Especially since it was raining!
Instead of succumbing to all the excuses that were floating around in my head, I made myself go through the motions of putting my workout clothes on, getting my shoes on and stepping outside. Ended up running the farthest distance yet!
What's more, I managed to get over the hurdles and obstacles I was putting up for myself. I know this war against laziness and bad habits is one that I'll be waging for a long time. For today, at least, I won the battle.0
