Need Belly Fat Tips and Help!

Hi Everyone, I am looking for help on how to get rid of my belly fat. I am a little more then 100 pounds over weight and it's all in my belly. My legs are very slim, my ankles are about about the same size as my wrist (I can fit a watch on my ankles) I don't have a big butt, and my boobs are only a C cup if I'm lucky. Yep it's all in my belly! Since losing 26 pounds I don't feel any different in my belly, my tops are all fitting the same way.

Can you give me some insight on how you lost your belly fat.

What did you eat?
Did you eat more of one food group then another?
What kind of exercse did you do ?
What worked for you?

Thanks! I look forward to trying your tips and tricks.

Dianna

You can't spot reduce, you have to lower your overall body fat percentage. Minimize muscle loss while losing weight will help you in this. Eating the right amount of calories and doing some type of strength training will help you preserve your lean body mass. If you choose to lift weights, your workout should revolve around compound movements like squats, deadlifts, and any pressing motion.

If you have eggs/dairy in your diet or wheat, it could be affecting the fat loss in this area...

    This is it....

Your body uses fat from whatever part of your body it wants, the midsection usually being the last.

I know that when we eat the high glycemic index carbs like breads, baked goods, carrots and corn our bodies react by storing more fat (usually in the belly area) because our blood sugar shoots up. Then when it drops (like a rock) you have cravings which doesn't help. To help slow down absorption always eat some protein with your meals. And to really cut back on belly fat cut back on all the white carbs like bread, and starches (rice, potatoes, pasta). Those are basically concentrated sugar like calories. Aerobic exercise is the best way to burn fat. Get into a habit of going for at the very least a 30 minute walk every day. Swimming is great for all over body toning but doing "the plank" is a good abdominal muscle strengthener. Running is bad on the joints especially when we're heavier. And finally a nice slow weight loss is better as you gradually shift your lifestyle to healthier foods and increased activity. It won't come back when you view this as a permanent lifestyle change. You'll feel great and have so much more energy! Good luck!
