Plateau Broken!

Hey everyone! I'm so excited! I've been stuck at a plateau for about a month and a half and it's been so frustrating. My weight has been bouncing between a 2-3 pound range, but it was never falling below my lowest recorded weight. But that has ended today! The scale dropped 0.6 lbs, which officially puts me over the half way mark! I never thought that darn thing was going to move again, so it's refreshing. I also look smaller in the mirror today which is new, and quite nice lol.
I'm pretty certain the plateau was caused by adding heavy lifting to my routine, which was still worth it despite the stall. I took yesterday off and drank lots of water, and that seemed to help with the water retention. I think this plateau was a good thing though. It taught me some much needed patience. I've read so many threads on here about plateaus and I'm happy I listened to the advice given about just waiting it out. It paid off, and now not only am I smaller, but I'm stronger too!

Thanks for the suggestion! I was actually considering eating at maintenance for a week or two if things didn't start moving again. I might hold off since I'm seeing some progress, but if I stall again I'll probably change things up. I'm also going on a small vacation newt week so that'll certainly change up my eating habits lol.0
