Anyone have any good recipes for Body by Vi shakes? It seems like I only know of a few and the more I drink them the more repetitive and boring they are...any will help

If you're bored with drinking it, try making pudding! Mix almond/soy/rice/or regular milk with two scoops just like you're making a regular shake but mix in a Tbl of Chia seeds. It ends up making a pudding consistency and is so so yummy. Make flavored pudding by blending in fruit before adding seeds0

Orange Julius (Tastes just like DQ)
1/2c unsweetened almond milk
1/2c OJ
2 scoops Vi
(I add 1/4c of Dannon Light & Fit Vanilla yogurt sometimes for thickness)
Banana & Wild Blueberries
1c unsweetened almond milk or unsweetened coconut almond milk (or 1/2c of ea)
1tbs of WILD blueberries
1/2 frozen banana
2 scoops Vi
Optional:
1.5 tsp chia seeds
1/4c light & fit vanilla yogurt
Strawberry Banana
1c unsweetened almond milk (or same as above)
1/4c sliced frozen strawberries ( I freeze all my fresh fruit makes thicker where ice is not needed)
1/2 frozen banana
2 scoops Vi
optional:

Chocolate banana
1c unsweetened almond milk
1/2 frozen banana
1tbs cocoa powder
2scoops Vi
**If you want a choc peanut butter banana add 1tbs of peanut butter. I use PB2 powder. Less fat & calories than reg pnut butter0 -
I did a little research, a lot of math and threw in some comparisons and just wanted to share:
1 cup of silk unsweetened almond milk: 30 cal, 1 carb, 1g protein, 3g fat
1 cup of skim or fat free milk: 86 calories, 12 carbs, 8g protein, 0g fat
So keep these in mind when you are making your shakes.
What do you need to meet your dietary goals?
For example: With what I've been eating lately, I need to have a higher protein to calorie ratio. To get the same amount of protein out of almond milk as I do from 1 cup of skim milk, I would need to drink 8 cups, but it would cost me 240 calories. That's not only an addition of about 160 calories, but it would also take a long time to drink that much milk!
However, if you are not worried about your carbs, protein or fat, then go for the lower calorie almond milk! That's 56 calories is about the same as 1 square of Ghirardelli's Intense Dark-sea Salt Soiree!0 -

Add 1 tbsp of chia seeds to help you feel satisfied!

I tried these and thought it tasted so gross. I eventually threw it out. I feel like such a weirdo since everyone thinks it tastes like ate mix. Do you actually like the taste? Maybe I should just suck it up and drink it. I just thought adding so much stuff to the shake increased the calories enough that it would be no different than just eating a healthy meal I like. What do you think? I want to lose weight....should I try it again?0

You might have ended up with a bad batch of the mix. I had two packages that tasted like sour milk and ended up throwing them out. When I asked, I was told that it had only happened to a few packages in Canada. No idea if that was true. The powder usually tastes like powered cake mix. If yours didn't and tasted like sour milk, get it replaced.0
