Study showed that a high protein diet and strength training was shown to either maintain current awesomeness in a caloric deficit or increase overall awesomeness in a caloric surplus.

High protein diet was described as anything exceeding the current RDA of 50g/day for a 2000 calorie diet.

Strength training alone was shown to increase awesomeness, but the affects with proper diet were shown to be synergistic.

Results are being published in the american journal of common sense.

lab rats are quite cute. Sprague-Dawley's at least are great to work with (males anyway).

    what is "hi pro. diet"?

is this some sort of supplement?? it's not from BALCO is it?

can you still drink alcohol while on this supplement? if so... how much, how often, and what types?

cardio is irrelevant. As is the evolutionary link between no life and the first single celled organisms and the evolution of eukaryotic organism from prokaryotic organisms.

considering character limits applied to thread titles in MFP i was forced to abbreviate the word PROTEIN. as I used protein in the first sentence of my original post, I would have assumed it could easily be inferred what pro. was referring to.

I apologize for overestimating your intelligence.

I would just drink ethanol with this diet. Methanol and isopropanol can be quite toxic when ingested in considerable amounts.

I've never understood why in most species of animals a higher protein diet makes the animal gain quality weight why that logic cannot be directly applied to humans without discontent...

I love that definition of high protein, because then even my rather wimpy intake is high! :drinker:

I suggest we change the name to "standard sense". It's not common, but it should certainly be the standard.
