Hey Everyone! I was just wondering what kind of cheese I should be buying that's a healthier option. I'm not too cheese-oriented. Thanks in advance!

Laughing Cow do a light / low fat one, bit processed of course, but handy for spreading a triangle on say crispbread or rice cake

Or spreading in the groove side of a stick of celery

I go for the ones that I enjoy enough to "spend" calories on.I don't really like laughing cow, so I wouldn't waste my money or calories on it, even if it is lower in calories. I like really mature cheddar, so I eat that, in an appropriate portion size. There are some circumstances where I don't mind a reduced fat mature cheddar, say if it's in a dish with a lot of other flavours, so then I would use that. I say start with your taste preferences and nutritional needs, and work from there. If cheese isn't really your thing, then maybe just go with no cheese at all?

Whatever cheese you enjoy. One isn't inherently more or less healthy then another.

Low fat options are skim string cheese and parmesan.

I thought I remember hearing somewhere that the hard cheeses, like parmesan, were lower in calls/fat than the softer ones such as brie. True or false?

Just eat whatever cheese you want to eat, as long as you have the available calories for it.
