Slow cooked pork w/ red onion and plum tomato (in a homemade orange and lemon juice marinade w/ maple syrup, minced garlic, ground pepper and parsley)
Brown rice (made with veggie broth and butter)
Mixed steamed veggies (asparagus, red bell pepper, zucchini and yellow squash)

First one I saw having pork, same as us. We are having grilled pork chops, brown wild rice, grilled fresh pinapple, peppers, onions and mushrooms on skewer with heinz 57 sauce, and watermelon.

Salad: baby spinach & butter lettuces with (cold) grilled chicken, strawberries, blueberries, a few candied walnuts and pomegranate blueberry vinaigrette dressing. So refreshing and "cool" on a hot day!

Pork shoulder I've been smoking for 5 1/2 hours w/ Sweet Baby Ray's barbecue sauce (may add some whiskey to it)
Bush's Grillin' Beans whiskey and brown sugar flavor
    Utz barbecue potato chips
    Fresh watermelon
    Homemade chocolate cake
    Peroni beer

I love working from home, I can afford to slow-smoke food on weekdays.

wow, whens dinner! Sounds awesome. This was almost exactly what we had at our wedding (no watermelon) .

Baked Chicken: I'll prep it with an olive oil/salt/pepper/garlic rub
Sweet Potato: I'll bake and eat half with a spoon full (or two) of plain greek yogurt
Side salad: Spinach, Shredded carrots, homemade tahini dressing, and pumpkin seeds

I may also eat a serving of butter beans because I'm craving them. :)

Apparently a banquet pot pie because that is what was cooked when I got home. I guess it could be worse.
  • A giant bowl of field greens, heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers from my garden, a ton of chicken breast and a jalapeno peach balsamic I whipped up.

    For desert - wine.
