Found the below link. According to this, frequent gum chewers can burn up to 11 extra pounds a year...now where did I put that pack of gum?

  • that is excellent cause I am an avid gum chewer lol I do it when I am trying avoid smoking and when I go on my walks to keep my mouth wet since both hands are full of weights I can't carry a water bottle. So it's great news for me!

Its has been found that gum chewing can cause weight gain and cause gas bubbles and bloating just like drinking through a straw. So many opinions out there.

I find that chewing gum helps to eliminate snacking as well. Great news that it burns calories too.

I chew gum to keep my mind off being hungry. LOL It keeps my mouth busy. Again, lots of different opinions though.
