I am an Irish girl, living in England. I work for an American company and all my colleagues (men and women) go on about how they love my accent. When I was last in the US for business, one of my male colleagues wanted me to read the newspaper to him LOL.
Are there any accents that you love to hear? Me, I love a male Irish accent

I absolutely adore an Australian accent! I'm from Newfoundland, we have our own lingo, speak extremely fast and if you're not from here and try to join a conversation between two or more of us you probably won't have a clue what we're saying lol0

I love a Massachusetts brogue or accent. I also like Texas. Some British. Some Italian. There are lots of very nice accents. I think many of us have them and don't realize it.0

I absolutely LOVE Scottish or Irish accents! Sooo amazingly sexy. I'm jealous! I definitely want to live in Ireland some day or in the extreme least just visit there. My moms family came from Scotland and my dads came from Ireland and Wales. Must be where I get it from0

Hello fellow Kiwi
I have a softspot for Irish accents...0 -
English(British?) accents, I love. As well as Irish and Scottish, and Russian speaking wise. I love working accents into my regular speech.
But I love HEARING Jamaican accents.0 -
I love any accent that isn't Australian (I am an Australian), asian or indian (harsh, but the reality is I find them extremely annoying).0

Scottish brogue is my absolute, instant panty-dropper accent...
English and Irish are a close second and third place
A U.S. Southern draw has been climbing the charts lately, esp. coming from a guy in the deep South
Australian would be next but for my friend Maria's accent - she has this sexy, sultry Spanish/Finnish accent that I swear is auditory Viagra from men AND women alike...
I'm from Vermont and I swear that I have an accent-less voice, but according to overseas friends, I've got a wicked accent.0 -
Swoon for Scottish brogue, too. And English, followed by Southern US, then Irish.
I, unfortunately, speak in this weird smash up of English/American accent.0 -
-
I have a real thing for Russian and Dutch accents and it doesn't matter that unless they are speaking English I haven't a clue what they are saying !
Oh and Neil Oliver (Scottish Historian) could read me the back of a cereal box and I would be quite happy :laugh:0 -

I love a southern accent. Especially from Georgia. I do love the New England accent too. Especially on a guy. It's sexy! I love Eastern European accents on women. I'm living in Hawaii now, so I'm getting more familiar with Asian accents as well. I never got much of a chance in the Midwest! I love Japanese and Thai accents. And food. And people. They're really friendly! I've always been a fan of the Turkish and Moroccan accents. So pretty.0

I got dat dere texas accent that has mixed with canadian accent.0

I'm an American living in England, and get complimented on my accent all the time. The funny thing is, I don't think you stop to think about your own accent until you're around people with a different one who notice and point it out. I never even felt I *had* an accent - just generic, midwest, newsreader accent. But there you go.
The Northern England accent just fills me with glee for some reason.0 -
Definitely Scottish and British. So lovely
Scotland *is* British. I think you might mean Scottish and English?0
