    I have a fitbit, which tracks my steps and miles/day. If I get 2 miles in a day, should I should I count that for this challenge, or should it be miles that are an additional effort?

    I'd say only log additional effort. You could always record both sets of figures just for your own gratification.

    2.2 mile run and 1.5 mile walk today :) = 3.7 miles total for August so far...

    I couldn't get the ticker to work...:(

    4 done - 46 more to do. Am aiming to get this done before the 17th as I'm going on holiday. Will continue to count for the rest of the month though :D. See how many I can do :)

    I think this will be motivation for me to bike and walk more! I will need it with two hotel weekends planned this month!

    I would love to do this, too! Usually I just calculate how many minutes a month that I exercise, but I'll start calculating mileage - If I can remember to! lol

    GOAL IS TO AIM FOR 60 MILES OF WALKING IN AUGUST
    -that means I need to do almost 2 miles a day with no rest days!!!!!!

    Thursday August 1st
    -walked 2.62 miles with my husband as I had us walk to the grocery store then back home to put the groceries away then I had us go back out and walk around the neighbourhood as I hadn't walked 2 miles in the walk to and from the grocery store and I wanted to start the first day of August off on the right foot by getting my 2 miles done

    Forgot what I did with my ticker but my goal is 50 miles.
