Looking for a few running friends - Starting 8/5 - C25K

Hello all,

I posted this on a different thread but did not get much response.

Looking for a few running friend or anyone starting or currently doing C25K to keep my accountable.
I am currently doing my last week of Insanity this Monday.

I feel great and would like to transition into a bit of running and keep the momentum going. The first week of C25K seems easy enough that I can mix it up with my last Insanity week.

I would like to start doing a few 5Ks a year and any advice would always be appreciated. I would love to love running so I am trying to give this a chance. The most I have ever run is one mile with no breaks but that was many years ago. I use to incorporate it in my cardio at the gym to warm up.

  • Me and some friends are going to start the c25k on monday also. I really dislike running but figure maybe it will help with the weight loss more. I just need people to stay motivated and love motivating people to stay on track. We can do this : )

    I started running on the 4th of march this year.

    I have slowly increased my distance and completed a 10k two weeks ago.

    I am starting c25k Thursday the 7th during my lunch break. I will be doing it with a buddy so you get a two for one here.:drinker:

    I have completed the C2 5K program in January, ran my 1st 5K in May....then completely got off track due to life events (who doesn't have em right?!?) Im looking to start back up Week 1 Day 1 tonight, and run the entire program again. First time I did it, I repeated days/some weeks...I'd like to finish the program in the time it was intended. Feel free to add!!
