scallop recipe

Anyone have a good one? i perper spicey! perhaps I'll just screw around in the kitchen and make something up myself but wanted others input

    I normally toss them on the BBQ. The trick is getting them off the BBQ in one piece. To this end I put three scallops on a bamboo skewer and wrap a rasher of back bacon around the scallops. Don't forget to soak the skewers for an hour first so that they don't burn.

    Oh man I love sea scallops! I wish they weren't so expensive. Last time we made them, my boyfriend basically did a rub with some blackening seasoning (so yes...they were spicy!), light panko breading, skewered and put them on the grill. We squeezed some lemon on them when they were done and they were amazing. I wish I had them right now! :sad:

    That's exactly what I plan on doing!! Blackening them with slap ya mama rub & black pepper & lemon juice!

    Had some last night done simply on a grill pan. Spray with olive oil first.

    They only need to be seared for few seconds up to 1-2 minutes and I would use a compound butter or a shallot wine reduction to drizzle over.

    I seared them in coconut oil & seasoned tham as i pleased. turned out great
