First time posting pictures! I've only lost 15 lbs so far as a whole (5 since joining MFP). This was at my heaviest:
This is about where I'm at now (after about a month):
Still have a long way to go, but I've already lost 6 inches and intend to stick with it!0 -
Thanks for sharing your photos!! This is such an inspiration for me! I only started last week (at 271lbs) and lost 5lbs so far. I'm excited to eventually reach my goal and post my pics as well )0

Before and After
-I gave up on trying to post this picture, you can see it in my album-
Current. I'm now at 125 and have been lifting heavy for a few months. I haven't lost much weight, but have lost two inches around my waist since lifting. Sorry about the nerdy photo, this is the most recent picture of me :P
My total loss has been about 50 lbs and I've gone from 36% BF to 24% and it's dropping steadily. I've lost all of my weight through diet and have just recently started toning up with heavy lifting.0 -
I've lost 38lbs in 18 months, I'm at my comfortable weight now. Going to work on toning but I'm happy.
To put it into context I've lost 5/6 inches on my waist and have gone down 2 full dress sizes. I've built up quite a bit of muscle because I started my own dog walking business 18 months ago it it's normal for me to walk between 4 and 6 hours a day. I will be honest and say my diet could be better, it's definitely the exercise that has gotten the weight off, but I'm hoping the diet changes will come soon and I can get rid of some wobbly bits more quickly. My stomach and legs have never been as firm as they are now, even when I was much smaller when I was younger, and I feel so much healthier and happier - the scales aren't the whole story!

You're all amazing. Thanks for sharing. Can you tell us if you've achieved these losses by just the calories allowed for the day etc, not a nice question, but how have you all managed to tone up your tummy?
Well done again.0 -

Here's my husband and I last year in Aug. - I was about 165lbs. I'm not sure what my dh weighed.
Here we are in July2013: I was 142lbs and dh I'm not sure but he's lost 50 some lbs.
I've lost 2 more lbs - 10 to go for now!
ps. hope this works the first time!0 -
The first pic was taken last June. I was 216+. I lost the same 20 pounds about three times then got serious the end of May and lost another 20 pounds. In the second pic I'm at about 175. Still have a ways to go but I will get there. All the pics of success stories are such an inspiration!
Don't know why it cut it off but here's the pic ????

Wow everyone, you all look incredible. Thanks so much for sharing your photos (especially as it can be hard to show people what you used to look like).
It is really noticeable how much younger people look when they have lost weight. I guess carrying extra weight kind of drags people down a bit? Or is it that we have more energy and 'get up and go' when losing weight.0 -
I needed some motivation, and everyone here has given me just that! Thanks to everyone who posted. Ok, here is mine. I have lost 136lbs.

I don't know how much I've lost in actual total, but I know I've lost 56lbs since I started weighing myself. I can guess at how much I've lost overall, but whatever. I got down to about 130lbs sometime last year and was relatively happy with that for a while and just maintained, though I decided to start losing again around June.

Everyone looks so amazing!! So much work and excellent results!!
I'm not exactly sure what I weighed in the photo from July 2010 but if I had to guess I'd say around the mid 180's and I only gained more for another year or so until I hit almost 200. Now 3 years and 1 month later I'm not to my 1st goal yet but I saw 160 on the scale 2 days in a row : ) Same dress in both photos, I really need to put a full length mirror someplace else in my house because the lighting in all my photos is horrible!
