    Personal challenge: Stay within calorie goal every day this month with no binging and no 'secret snacking' that I don't log.

    That's a great personal challenge! I think of it this way: even if you don't tell MFP that you had a snack, your body knows. You're only cheating yourself. It's impossible to lie to your body, so you might as well just log the food, as painful as it may be.

    I am joining the weight loss challenge for August. I am new to posting thought if I joined a group I would get more motivation.
    Current weight 144
    Goal. 135
    I try to workout out At least 3 days a week but sometimes more.
    Personal challenge:: Using my spinning package at the gym everyday, :happy: instead of twice a week..

    Some great goals here. first day of the week and my mantra for this week (and every week I suppose) is:

    log everyday
    make a calorie deficit every day
    If I don't feel like working out, work out anyway :-)
    don't take a day off creating a deficit.

    Do the above and watch that calorie deficit turn into weight lost at the end of the week

    push hard everyone to the first weigh in on Saturday!

    I know I'm super late in the month, but I need motivation and help to keep on track. I started off the first few weeks great and then we moved and the last few weeks I have been bad - eating out since nothing was unpacked and our stove wasn't working and not working out at all. I really need some motivation to get back on track so I don't give up.

    Starting weight: 185
    Goal for end of August: 180

    My biggest goal is to work out 5 days per week every week including going for a jog at least once a week.

  • I'm over 50 so losing weight is really hard. Current stats 5'3" 139lbs. I workout a lot and count calories but can't seem to lose. My goals: workout 5-6 times a week and burn 4000 to 5000 calories a week, remain under my calorie goal each day and HOPEFULLY lose 6 without/ minimal muscle loss. This should be possible.

    OK, my first check in.... I am 10 days in and 2 pounds down. I still have 4 pounds for this months challenge and I am gonna do it! I have been logging in everyday, every meal and working out most days.
