Dr. Oz 3 day cleanse

Started the 3 day cleanse today,there is something about eating raw f/v for 3 days .Starting wt 193.2lbs. I am doing this with my daughter as a summer cleanse. Will update. Suffered from constipation for 3 months and I already feeling less bloated and great .

It's very disappointing, I wish I could just post information about my diets and shakes without random educated people coming in and telling me I'm wrong because they experienced it first hand, I would rather just find out for myself or have people support me even though they've never done it!

I just really don't think all that stuff mixed together sounds like it would taste good at all. Yuck! I'll just eat my berries and my kale and drink my water and so on, it seems to work and it tastes good.

The only thing to drink that is more effective than your liver at removing toxins is bleach.

But don't do that either

To be fair, if Oz told his legions to go on a 3 day bleach smoothie diet the world would rapidly become a better place.

It's not negative. It's what is happening. When the OP goes back to eating normal it's gonna happen.. and they're going to wonder why.
Disagreement =/= negative.

So, they eat raw.. and they poop. Imagine that. The scale changes. Brilliant. So, eating very little sodium doesn't cause water retention, right? Veggies make you poop? Yeah, that's how it happens. That's what works. There is NOTHING wrong with eating more veggies, but to call it a cleanse is ridiculous.

Isn't it amazing how eating less calories for a few days will help you lose weight? Never figured out why people can't see that they lose weight because they aren't consuming large numbers of calories with all these juices and fasts. Just eat right people and you'll lose weight. Don't sweat juicing an extra 2 stalks of celery!

I said it before and I'll say it again. My detox is simple, cheap, and takes only half a day.

Rigger's detox, take one glass of water, add several drops of VVL-800 machine oil, consume oil/water mixture, wait 15 minutes and take up residence on yonder porcelain throne for the next 6-10 hours.

So easy anyone can do it.

Kitteh...Of course I am!!! I read this post and thought, gee, common sense has never gotten me anywhere, let's just forget all the knowledge in the world and all the common sense, and the fact that quick fixes will solve EVERYTHING, even create world peace! Why not.

I'd be interested to know how many calories these smoothies net.
My guess is that you're losing massive amounts of muscle.

The 3 day cleanse smoothies are 400-500 depending per smoothie and you drink 4 per day.
The 7 day smoothies are 420-800 (margarita kale) depending on which 3 you choose out of the 4 they have.

Actually with the 3 day cleanse, I ate more calories than MFP has be eating daily. Each smoothie was 400-800 calories depending on which you choose. So yeah....

Your diary isn't public, but I'd bet your fruit and vegetable intake is egregiously low if you've been constipated for three months. Instead of some "cleanse" how about eating better on a regular basis? Good nutrition isn't some kind of sprint, it's a marathon. "Cleanses" are faked up sprints.
