    Not surprising... well, actually I was... gained again....
    new weight 174.8
    BMI up too....

    What did I do right this week
    1) got my tooth fixed. probably needed to do this weeks ago... but.... focused on all others except me.
    2) new beds were delivered for my daughters except the wrong style came in for my older daughter
    3) spendt time w/friends on Sunday night - had a great time even though the customer at the next table needed the EMTs to carry him away.
    4) spendt time w/Dave over the holiday weekend. And he wanted to go to his favorite little burger/ice cream shop.
    5) being very productive at work.

    Still feeling nauseous - this time it's due to the antibotics and pain medicine. In our front office there's a cake for a suprise baby shower. Just seeing the cake is increasing my stomach flip flops. So, I plan to avoid the front office today.

    Leaving at 2pm for attorney. Will get ruling on the custody.

    Happy Friday to you all and ** YAY **, it's the weekend! Hope it's a good one!

    well, got new batteries yesterday, and scale says I am down .4 to 178.2, which is a loss from 2 weeks ago, but a .4 gain from when I did my 3 mos stats. so I guess I feel kinda ok bout it. have a feeling my cycle will be starting w/in the week...and normally I have a loss during that time, so maybe next week. just gotta keep on keepin on! just 4 more lbs and I will be over wt!

    ANYWAY! we've had some very nice Fall-like weather this week...should be outside but haven't! need to finish some painting in the basement, do some laundry and pick up the rest of the house.

    Barb ~ all in all, I would say you had a pretty good last week, cept for the root canal. home - work - social life sounds great! sometimes that makes up for all the icky parts. hope you get to feeling better soon! take care :flowerforyou:

    make it count ladies...keep workin' hard at it and let's get these pesky pounds off!

    Plugging away at work..... I handle worker's compensation and my case files are keeping me busy.
    All I can say is it's up to the employee to provide medical evidence of their work related injury -- sometimes they do, sometimes they don't.

    I know I have not signed in for a couple of days but things were crazy and found out had a deadline to meet so I had no time to do anything until it was done.

    Jacque great to hear from you hope you will recover soon take it slow and work your way back, we have missed you so much :heart:

    Kelly it is crazy. I stopped eating sweets 3 days ago. It seams everytime I eat them I dont stop and when I was not eating them I was loosing weight. This is my birthday month so no sweets except on my birthday.

    Vita hope yo are feeling better.

    Well lost the 2 pounds I gained over my vacation so currant weight 193. Will try to get some exercise in but another deadline to day so looks like no walk we shall see.

    Dental pain causing me to take smaller bites - chew on one side. Antibotics upsetting my stomach - making me reach for crackers.
    On the flip side, the headache is gone......

  • Sorry forgot to check in on Friday. Still eating to much comfort food. Weight was 256.8, so no real movement there. I am sure it up went on a total binged yesterday, eeating everything in sight. So going to try and clean my room today and some laundry. Hope everyone is hanging in there

    hi all...so far, weekend has been ok. got up early yesterday and did a walk/jog (4.5 miles in 60 min). was still dark when I went out and about 10 minutes before I was done, the sun was coming up. went to my friends house and helped her paint her dd bedroom. we visited too much and it didn't get done in the time she wanted it to, but it's over 1/2 done.:ohwell: watched Hawkeye football on tv w/dh then we watched the UNI vs North Dakota State game...our son was the 'ball boy' for the game. Kinda neat seeing him on the sidelines, on tv! Had broasted chicken and potatoes from a local bar in town for supper. salt city!!:noway: Today we went to a family reunion and I am so full...not miserable tho... Gonna keep pushing the water....

    Gotta get a plan set up for exercise. Have not done any strength for almost 2 weeks now!:huh: flabbiness will be appearing soon :frown:

    Hey all!
    Well I have been working lately with a friend for her husband the contractor! So I have been making some money (Thank the lord because it has been tight:( Hives are comming and going but thank the lord again that I am keeping them mostly at bay!
    I am weighing at 195 now witch is still a few pounds up since before my vacation so taht makes me feel like poo, but I am logging in now and making better choices (Except the reuben samie taht I HAD TO HAVE this weekend....But it was SO GOOD LOL)Anyhow we are starting to practice again at the barn 3x a week and I think we still are having an outdoor practice so I will be skating 3 or four times a week again. plus with the kids both at school for the first timje I will have time to go to the gym WHEN I am not working!!!:) So taht makes me really happy!
    Barb~I am so sorry to hear about your dental pain! I hate that it is the worst pain in the world! I would rather give birth!! REALLY
    Kelly~The early morning walk sounds wondeful! I would really love to do something like that! Now you have me trying to think how I could do it!

    Yup, would rather give birth in my 40s then experience dental pain. I had to go back today for follow-up. There's still infection in my gums...still swelling .... and when the dentist felt around my gums....PAIN.... now the novacaine has worn off..... I've taken some OTC pain reliever. Don't want to do the prescription since I want to drive.

    My kids had their 6mth checkup today. No problems with them. Took them out for lunch before I sent them back to school. Ordered a turkey club... could not eat it. My face was numb from the novacaine. Couldn't really chew food. So, it will be my lunch for work.

    Going to attempt curves & walk today.

    Sorry for not being around for the week end and yesterday. Things are just crazy and tax school is starting, son in college and busy at work.

    Went to doctors for my test results. I cant say it went bad at all. I lost 6 pounds since I saw him last which made both of us happy and my tests results were good. I am a diabetic but still no need for meds. :drinker: I am going to see a nutritionist in the next couple of weeks. I am trying not to eat sweets still. Messed up a couple of times but not over calories. I have a walk date on my lunch today so exercise today. Well my ds also had an appointment yesterday and I have been very upset about how much weight he gained this year. 50 pounds and now he needs to be tested for diabeties too. :sad: I am trying to help him but he keeps telling me he is working on it. We shall see what those results come in as. I know that I cant force it on him or it will get worse I am trying to help and let him know I will help him any way I can. I put all his favorite healthy foods in fridge and he has been going for them.

    Jacque hang in there you will be back and loosing in no time.
    Kelly I have not exercised except yard work over week end since vacation. It is really hard getting back into it. Will try to start walking everyday. I am hoping the nutritionist can help me.
    missvita is that a new hair cut, looks very nice on you. Glad you found some work, cash flow these days are very tough. Spent 500 on books for my son and that is only 4 classs :noway:

    I did go to curves yesterday. Once home, I found hubby on scooter outside. Learned he scooted (is this such a word) around the block while my son stakeboarded.

    Then I talked hubby into doing another block w/me. Then he had enough and I went ahead and did the full walk. So I did have a longer walk yesterday. At end of day, the MS is affecting hubby.... I dislike seeing him on the scooter.... at least not wheelchair.

    Hoping to get to gym at end of day but I am preparing for a last minute project dump on my lap. Since I'm off tommorrow this project is needed today. Unfortunately, my boss is waiting for others to give him the information. Hoping no late night.

    One of trainers at curves is also a nutritionist. What she did for me was review printouts of my food/exercise diary (compliments of myfitnesspal.com) then she made suggestions -- add more protein, drink less diet type drinks, drink more water, watch carbs.
    She has a background but her part time job is a curves trainer.......so.....

    I'm considering my primary dr providing a referral to a nutritionist. See if the suggestions are the same.

    My suggestion is prior to your appointment, print out several (if possible) weeks of food/exercise logs. Chances are the nutritionist will want you to log food anyway..... so if you go w/the info he/she can see immediately what your challenges are.

    Did very well w/exercise today.
    20 min jog at end of day
    30 min curves
    30 min walk
    then stretching......

    I came home from curves & found 2 additional kids at my house. (one being a teenage boy). One of my girl friends sent me this saying "Men are either hungry or horny." So, I made cookies to feed this boy.

    Of course, I had to have a handful of cookies.....

    Thanks Barb, I started logging again just in case. My appointment is not for a couple of weeks and I will have to be really good about logging all my food, the week ends if I dont get to a computer to write it down. I think I am doing well, it is my week and aunt flow is making me really crampy.

    Barb-Totally agree with u on the dental pain, birth is soooo much easier.
    Sindy- Went to a nutritionist for over a year. It helped except for the emotional part. They will want a log of eataing and my also wanted an exercise log too. Now that I think about it she was a wellness coach so we worked on both areas, It does open your eyes to calories we forget like ketchup and oil , butter, etc

    Thanks Jacque. I will keep track of my exercise too. Not sure but I do a lot of commuting, a bus 2 trains and a 10 min walk from station that I do not include for exercise because I do it only mon - fri. Wanted to ask if I should be including that. I dont think so.

    Sindy - include everything so the nutritionist can get a good idea of your exercise/food. I know it's time consuming... thus why I haven't been logging food in as often.

    I did my weigh in today since I was from work.

    So, I am happy I lost weight & my BMI went down per wii.

    Here's more happy good news stories -- my oldest got her braces off today. We thought her broken bracket was going to be fixed; instead, her braces came off 3 weeks early.

    Next, my oldest does not have sleep apena.

    Had lunch w/Dave & oldest -- ate a salad... then leftover salad for dinner.

    Walked & did curves.

    Overall, good day.
