I was searching Google for a low-calorie brownie recipe to satisfy my cravings yesterday, haha. The one that I found is really good, so I thought I would share! I used regular sugar. Using the MFP calculator, I calculated each brownie as 64 calories, 12 carbs, 1 fibre, 2 protein, 654 sodium, and 23 iron. However, the original recipe says that they are 100 calories, so take it as you will haha.
Low-Calorie Brownies:
3/4 cup: Low fat yogurt (Vanilla or plain work best)
1/4 cup: Skimmed milk (or almond/soy)
1/2 cup: Cocoa powder
1/2 cup: Wholegrain rolled oats
1/2 cup: Truvia (or any natural/stevia based sweetener that pours like sugar)
1: Egg
1 tsp: Baking powder
Pinch of salt
Pre-heat your oven to 200°C/400°F and grease a small baking tray (about 8in x 8in). Mix all of the ingredients together and then process or blend until smooth (unless you want whole oats in your brownie). Pour into your pan, and then bake for 20 minutes!
When they're completely cool, slice them up. The calorie count is based on cutting them into 9 brownies.

I made these last night and they turned out SO GROSS!!
I used Nevella Stevia, less than the recipe called for, but they have that serious aftertaste that you just can't get past! I'd recommend using half as much Sweetener as the recipe calls for. I'd personally use sugar and just suck up the extra cals/sugar. It is a brownie after all...
Also, I used a spring form pan and they came FLAT, like as thin as cardboard. My experience with these was just horrible! haha.
I'm going to have to buy a proper baking tray, and I'll use sugar next time. I'm just hoping that slightly eggy taste goes away too...
All in all, these ones were brutal but I'll try them again!0 -
jamie eason has protein brownies that are two brownies for 96 cals. they are awesome.0
