Anyone else ready for fall and/or winter?

The weather here has been freakishly warm and as a lifelong summer-hater, things are growing difficult. I've been wearing scarves lately in the hopes that it will somehow lower the outside temperature, but sadly it isn't working. Counting down the days until I can wear a coat again ...0

Not me! I'm loving summer!0

I've begun to appreciate summers, now that I walk everywhere. Waking up on mornings in pitch blackness, and having to walk for several miles to work/school when it's -30C gets old pretty quick. And then it's dark again when you're walking back home.0

I just went outside to feed the cat and got 2 mosquito bites, not to mention the poison ivy on my ankle! I am so NOT a summer person unless I'm sitting next to a pool with a foo foo drink in my hand!
Fall cannot come soon enough! The changing leaves, football, kids back to school, crisp cool nights and mornings perfect for a run, football, Halloween, hayrides, apple cider, football, no bugs, and oh, did I mention football?:drinker:
Anyone else done with summer?????
My favorite "Foo foo"!!! Can't go wrong using that word. "Pool" I live in Vegas, can you imagine how tired of Summer I am? "Mosquito" well we didn't used to have them as it was always too darned dry and not humid enough for them to even grow, but with the rate of foreclosures here and the lot of them having pools that never get drained so they sit for years, guess what? We now have reported deaths from West Nile. And I'm paying more at the vet for heart worm meds just in case.
So yeah, Fall/Winter can't get here fast enough. And yes, it cools down here around late September - mid October. Then we sometimes get snow in the city0 -
Only weirdos hate summer.
Count me as a weirdo...
Fall weather means cold beer outside by the fire watching college football. Right now it's so damn hot, you can hardly breathe. So yeah, COME ON COOL WEATHER!!!!0 -
I can't wait until fall so I can run through all of the leaves on the ground and kick them, crush them and just soak in all that autumn goodness.

We had a glimmer of changing to Fall this week with temps dipping during the days and waking to a few cool mornings. I'm ready.0
-

Ready for fall and winter. My favorite times of the year to run outside, and my favorite 5 mile races are in December and March. Of course, running outside sucks in the winter if there is a ton of snow on the ground.0
-
Can't wait. I like to wear a lot of clothes.0

I miss being able to wear a sweatshirt and jeans outside, and be able to leave it on and be comfortable, or take it off and be comfortable.
**The sweatshirt that is.0 -
Fall is my very favorite! Cant wait!!!! Its nice to come out of the gym and it be nice and cool.0

Summer is my very favorite, and if I could live an endless summer, I would. However, my first daughter is due at the end of October, and so I'm really jonsing for summer to end this year.0

104 here in Dalls today, so Ya I am ready for fall. But I do enjoy summer just a bit hot this week.0

I am savoring every second of summer. I find winter in the Pacific NW, where it's cloudy and rainy for months on end, is depressing and I'm not looking forward to it at all.0
-
yes because it 100+ degrees here in Dallas. I get more outdoor activities/exercise in the fall and winter.0
-
YES! Living in the South has made August my least favorite month of the year. Critters in high gear, over the heat and ready for the next 9 months of beautiful weather0
-
Oh then you need to come visit me. We have had absolutely no summer this year. Summer began with massive flooding of historical proportions and since then the warmest we've seen is +26 Celsius and I think that was one Saturday last month. Last few days the high here has been +13 Celsius. I even had the heat on for a few days in July. Next year I hope summer falls on a Saturday.0
-
Noooo  I love wearing light clothes all the time. I'm moving back north which means freezing mornings and colds :sick:0
-
I love every season EXCEPT June and July. Where I live we have to bathe in bug spray those two months because of the black, horse, and deer flies. They're painful, buzzy-crazy, and just plain icky. It's so hard to get my walking in during those months because of the danged things.0

Best part about fall? WALKING DEAD0
-
Not really. The summer has been mild for Oklahoma. We normally run the entire summer over 100 degrees and no rain. This year its been rainy just about every week and in the low 90's for most of the summer.0

Have to say- I think I've always liked winter more because I can wear sweatshirts that hide my chub...summer has been more enjoyable this year.0
-
I absolutely adore autumn. I wish it was October all year round...0

It's been 100+ degrees in South Texas for over a week - yes, I'm ready for fall (which doesn't really come till late November here)0
