Low thyroid won't hold me down!

Hi! I'm a twenty-something college student with an affinity for working out a LOT. I really enjoy helping motivate others to start/continue their fitness journeys and really amp up their health.

I have a long family history of thyroid disorder, and I recently was told by my doctor that I have high thyroid antibodies (my body is starting to attack my thyroid). I saw my mom battle an underactive thyroid for years and she was cold, always tired, couldn't lose weight, and overall felt terrible. I'm determined to help others avoid this fate. Thyroid disorder shouldn't be a life sentence to obesity and fatigue, so I'm here to make sure that doesn't happen to anyone else.

Everyone is welcome to friend me if they need motivation or just want more friends.

Why didn't your Mom take Synthroid?

She went undiagnosed for years. She went to probably 10 different doctors who all told her she was just being dramatic before she found one that knew what they were talking about.
