Many times the weekend is a challenge to get through and we end up undoing everything we worked so hard for through the week. :grumble: Take the Skinny Saturday Challenge and finish your weekend with a smile on your face! :bigsmile: Here's what it entalis:

Double your exercise~
Double your water intake (within healthy limits)~ :drinker: :drinker:
Double your willpower to stop eating after dinner and log every tidbit that crosses those lips! :bigsmile: :bigsmile:
:happy: Just let us know now if you are in....then check in and out when you can tomorrow to let us know how it is going and encourage someone else. Grab a buddy and make the commitment! There is power in numbers....I know one thing for sure.....

I haven't been in for awhile, tomorrow is a busy day for me, but darn it, I will do what I can to get 'er done
My first 5k in the morning followed by a 6yr old bday party and was going to a wedding as a last minute decision, but now we're not sure. I'll be sure to get in some sort of exercise after the bday party, whether it be a walk or 30day shred...Good luck all, let's burn it up tomorrow!!0 -

Finishing week 6 of C25K tomorrow - so I have a 25 min straight run to get done first thing in the morning! :bigsmile: Then the only other thing I have planned is watching my nephews soccer games. So I have ALL DAY pretty much to work on ME! I have some household things to do...picked up some porch paint & some joint compound today for two different projects - so that should burn something! Looking forward to getting my Skinny back! :smokin:0

Doing Day 4 of Level 1 of the 30DS...I work all morning/afternoon but I'll try to double my water at least!! And take a really long walk when I get off work!0 -

Ok.....what is your game plan for today team??? We are off to a football game and tailgating party this afternoon. This will not be a stumbling block for me. I have had my normal raisin bran breakfast with a few sunflower seeds for breakfast. Planning on hitting some lean protein and raw veges before we leave so my tummy won't be grumbling while we are tailgating. I will double my exercise this morning so I can have calories to enjoy a taste or two of some football food. I am on the water already! I have a jug iced down so I can guzzle all day. I add a little lemon juice for taste (and it is cleansing for your liver!). This helps me get it all down.

Going Great!!! Already got in 60 ozs. of water with at least 60 more to go!! Just got back in from my 10 Mile walk!! Now on the way to Zumba at the Gym and get some Cybex in Skinny Saturday you rock!!!0

I'm in! I walked my first 5K this morning and I am going to try to do Wii Fit later tonight. I am amazingly not tired after the 5K! I've lost track of how much water I've drank today... probably at least 60 oz so far (I count in other healthy drinks too... so there's a bit of unsweet tea and nonfat milk in there) so that seems do-able as well. After dinner snacking has been killing me this week so I am definitely needing the challenge for that!
Sundays are more challenging for me than Saturdays... less control over what I eat because of a potluck every Sunday.0 -
5k run/walk (literally half and half) is officially under my belt!! Woot Woot!! Such an amazing and fun experience!
Now, on to a birthday party (nothing too serious, won't be eating lunch there so I can control that much!), then I plan on doing some pilates to stretch out my legs a bit and then an evening walk.. No road trip to MO(doing that tomorrow) nor the wedding, hubby is worn out from working already and he's only halfway through the day. So I'll be able to control my dinner too. I may get in some dancing or running around later on. We'll see what happens at the birthday party. On that note, I need to make a trip to the store and get him a gift. So far, 8.5oz glasses I'll check back in later.0 -
I was up early this morning & did my run first thing! C25K 25 min straight run down! Yay me! Glad I went when I did cuz then the rain started! I did a bit of cleaning & then CJ took me to an unexpected lunch since the soccer games were cancelled. :bigsmile: :blushing: After lunch, the rain stopped for a bit, so I went on a bike ride. However it has been raining ever since! I didn't get my porch painted because of it. :grumble:
Oh well.... I think I'll go find something else to do now. :happy:0 -
I have done really well today as well. I left the house early to help my Mom and then back home let dogs out then left house to go to sons baseball games 2 and now home, I haven't had any thing to eat!! I just had my breakfast mocha and lots of water. I think hubby and I are going out to eat but okay cuz got lots of calories to spend! I will still eat carefully though. May indulge in a glass of wine though:drinker: and then who knows:blushing: a little cardio May check in a llittle later. Have a good healthy evening everyone!0

Well, I did not eat the pizza at the bday party, I did have one small piece of cake (half of a normal piece) and a scoop of ice cream. Food was good today, water was 14.5 8oz glasses so far and exercise was a 3mph walk for 15min and the 5k this morning. I probably could have exercised more, but I don't want my legs to fall off! Have a great weekend all!!0

You go girls! I am so impressed with everyones workouts today. Candlegal please let us know how many calories you burn this evening.
Rule of the day was no food into the mouth unless you drink a cup of water first. I lost track of how much but trust me it's a lot.
Burned up a hefty amount of calories power walking, agricising, and painting my living room.
It's been alomost a week now, step exercises on the ladder, stretches to the ceiling, and upper body workouts painting, and painting, and painting. Powerlifting comes in tomorrow when I move the furniture back.

Skinny Saturday helped me stay on track this weekend so far. I have a habit of falling off on weekends. Did double exercise however did not get all the water in...but I am happy to have logged on every single morsel that touched my lips and ended up with calories left....yahooooo0

:flowerforyou: Hooray for us! It sounds like a super skinny Saturday for all! Here is how I ended up...I drank an ocean of water, got my exercise in and then...tailgated. I still stayed under my cals. I had brautworst (so full of fat!) but went without the bun. The host had fresh veges and other items that were not too bad. I had calories to spare because it was skinny Saturday! :bigsmile: We also got alot of walking in and I sweat alot sitting directly in the sun for a while. :glasses:
Skinny Saturday helps me stay focused through the weekend. Now....I am pumped to stay focused throughout the week! Hoping to catch you on the Skinny Wednesday Challenge!:flowerforyou:
