Moms looking to lose some weight!

Hi there, I'm Megan, 23yrs old and have a 14 month old daughter, Hayli. Luckily already dropped the baby weight but my goal is 15lbs away.

Anybody know of kid friendly workout routines? I've got asthma that acts up when running, so that's not really an option for me. I've heard of some moms working out with their little ones, as they think its playing, and for us is a 20+ lbs weight :) I would love to get back into going to the gym, but I've got my little one with me all day. The YMCA has day care that I could try, how do you other moms fit working out into your busy schedule?

Also looking for friends, don't know many people, been kind of a hermit since my daughter was born. Motivated moms, message me! If you are close by, we can even get together!

Hi. Buy yourself a kettlebell....very easy to use, incredibly effective and there are free online workouts to use. You dont have to find a sitter while you work out as it can all be done at home. Just don't let the little one too near it as if it fell on feet etc it could do damage but other than that they're brilliant....hope this helps..ps you can buy them in Target or Walmart
  • The only thing I did really with my first was walking a lot sometimes id go out walking for hours with the little one in the pram (some early mornings I used to jog a little with the pram)
Local swimming pools near me have crèche facilities so you can leave them there for an hour while you do some lengths, also while your child is sleeping try out a home fitness dvd I used the ab sessions from p90x which gave me back my flat belly after a few weeks after baby no1 hubby was so impressed by the p90x that he would even join me in the workouts :)
Ill be starting that again in a couple of weeks
