I see pumpkin is low on carbs and calories has anyone had success with losing weight with using pumpkin as it fills you up
100grams cooked (3.5 oz) = 20 cal and 5grams carb 1 gram fibre compared with brown rice cooked 100grams (3.5oz )112cal and 24 grams carbs fibre 2grams
Any thoughts ideas would be great.

I use pumpkin for a lot of things. You can sometimes use it in exchange for fats and butters in baking. I also like to use it for smoothies. Make sure (if you're that into it) that it's organic and 100% pumpkin/squash.

I throw a can of pumpkin, some pumpkin pie spice and a Splenda in a bowl and eat it all the time.0
