Hey all,

I used to have the Weight Watchers recipe for THE most deliciously moist chocolate cake. I can't find the recipe and I can't remember the ingredients. All I know is that mandarin oranges are used. I have looked online of the recipe but can only one find ones that include using a diet soda. I know that my recipe didn't use that. If you have the recipe PLEASE pass it on it was SOOOOO yummy! Thanks in advance!

  • Could this be the cake recipe only using devils food cake instead of yellow cake mix.
    Celebration Cake

    1 yellow cake mix
1 small can of mandarin oranges undrained
    3 egg whites
    1/3 cup apple sauce

Mix all together and pour into a 9 x 13 cake pan and bake at 350 degree for 30 minutes.

When cake is cool ice with: Mix together:

8 oz fat free cool whip (I use a lil more)
1 small can of crushed pineapple undrained
1 small box of sugar free vanilla pudding

and frost the cake. Cut into 12 pieces.

Keep in fridge til ready to serve. Adults and kids both love this cake and no one knows it's ww friendly!

    * Cake also freezes well.

This is it!! THANKS SO MUCH!!! I knew that there was apple sauce in it as well! Oh, I am so excited to use this again! For the frosting I only ever used the FF cool whip though.

Thanks again for all the replies!

This is the one! When I was in weight watchers it was ONE POINT per piece! LOVE it! For the frosting all I ever used was the FF cool whip, but the pineapple and pudding frosting sounds yummy too! You are right, I do use the Devil's Food Cake. DELICIOUS!

Yum :). I guess it would work in cupcake form? I think that would help me control portion size.

Portion size control is the key or so i am told. This is a great idea and I am planing on trying that soon. Thanks

LOL - I just wanted to say thank you for this. I had to make a dessert for a pot luck tonight and I made this cake. First of all, we couldn't taste the oranges and second of all, no one believed that it was not crazy heavy on the calories!!!!

Thank you thank you thank you
