Ladies (or gents) who lift..what supps do you take?

Hey everyone I am halfway through my second round of body beast and am thinking of adding in supplements. I have gotten pretty good results with just taking whey powder, but can't help but wonder what my results would be like if I added in casein, creatine, and BCAA's. Any ladies taking supplements want to offer advice? Which supplements do you take? Have your weight lifting results improved by doing so? Do any of the supplements have side effects like nausea? Thanks in advance!

I take orange triad multi, joint and digestive support in them as well.
Whey protein, b-6, creatine, and bcaa's right beforehand after my workout. Can't say if they are doing any good as I have taken them since I have taken them from the beginning. A good multi is essentiay

I only take multi-vits and whey protein with 5g L-Glutamine and BCAAs. Might start taking Pump HD or C4 soon

I take bcaa's, creatine, zma along with my whey/casein.

The creatine can wreck your stomach.
The bcaa's are a little funky, they make me jittery if I take too much.

I take C4 for a preworkout, and creatine and whey protein after my workout. I've been having good results with this.
  • For me, bcaa, creatine, glutamine, multi-vitamin, fish oil, zinc, magnesium.

Pre-workout either O.N. Pre, or MP Assault.

I find supplements work best in aiding recovery from your workout, so the result it has on your lifting, is that your body is ready to perform better at your next workout, whereas if you are still feeling sore, you might not train as hard.

I don't like using concentrated pre-workouts that are high in stimulants as these just make me feel nauseous. Some people say these products allow them train harder, but that has not been my experience. I like a pre-workout with a bit of caffeine as I train first thing in the morning, as well as ingredients that will enhance mental focus. Products containing Arginine will give you a skin tingling sensation, some people like, others don't.

    protein.

that's it. I dislike the idea of using other things. I really dislike supplements in general- but I dislike them even more so for people who are a level who won't see the gains from them. (not saying that is to anyone here- just a generic "people")

    Nothing.

Okay, i have whey isolate powder that i eat sometimes, because mixed with frozen fruit and laban it makes a great smoothie that has a decent amount of protein in it. But I don't actually eat it very often.

Whey because it's hard to hit my macros without it (not impossible but hard when I do silly things like drink wine and eat ice cream), creatine on lifting days because my husband bought it and why not. A multivitamin every day to cover the bases. I also usually take a fish oil but I have that on hold right now because there are some reports that it slows bone healing and I recently broke my foot and I'm trying to speed things along there.
