I don't really have a back story on what motivated me to begin this weight loss. I just did.
I start trying to lose weight in 2010, work was having a Biggest Loser contest and my boss got me to join. I don't recall exactly, but I believe I was around 220 and dropped almost 20 pounds and was tied in third place in the end. And there my love for exercise began.
By June of 2010, I decided to go back to school and become a nurse of all things. School work and clinicals left no gym time, so of course I blew up again because my diet was horrible.
I rejoined 24 Hr Fitness July 2nd, got a personal trainer and she encouraged me to use MFP. I already had the app on my phone, logging every once in a while, but she got me dedicated to keeping up with what I consume.
And here are some pictures: 235-ish
After Nursing School, 2010
April, 2012
And recently 151 lbs
Anneriversary, May 2013
Daughter's Kindergarden Graduation, June 2013
How about some measurements too?!
7/12 >>>>> 7/13
Neck - 15" >>>>>> 13.25"
Bicep - 13.25" >>>> 11"
Forearm - 10.5" >>>> 9.5"
Waist @ Bellybutton - 45" >>>>>> 34.5
Hips - 53" >>>>> 38.5
Thighs - 26.5" >>>>> 20.5"
Calf - 16" >>>>> 14"
I'm 5'4" and 23 years old
