    I cut my teeth on American Hardcore:

    Black Flag
    DRI
    Circle Jerks
    Jerry's Kids
    Minor Threat
    Bad Brains
    SSD
    Cro-Mags
    Fishbone

    Then moved to Megadeth, Anthrax, Nuclear Assault, Slayer, and Metallica ( on the first 4 albums ), COC, Suicidal Tendencies, Motorhead, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Dream Theater

    Then on to Disturbed, Pantera, White Zombie, Powerman 5000, SOAD, Killswitch Engage, Mastadon, Tool, Linkin Park, Godsmack, BLS.

    Notice no Korn, Slipknot, Stone Sour, or any of that crap....

    Whoa, this is quite the range of music on this picture. I don't consider myself a 'metal fan' per se, although I love a handful of bands on this pic. I can handle the Kyuss/Metallica/Dio/Ozzy/Suicidal Tendencies/Motorhead/Megadeth etc. and leave the Hammerfall/Pantera/Slayer/Lamb of God/Anthrax etc. to my metal-loving husband. I guess I like wussy metal. LOL

    Truth. One of the best show's I've been to was Amon Amarth.

    Actually my husband and I both like metal, but we don't always agree. I am not a huge Metallica or Anthrax fan (don't shoot me, I know), but please Turn up the AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and Dio.

    However, my taste runs through a lot of Genre's, so not unusual for Ipod to go from Iron Maiden to Kesha.

    My favorite band is Rush.

    But when it comes down to it give me screaming Guitar Solo or a Drum Solo and I am soooooo very happy.

    FYI, my husband's friend was in Cleavage, apparently they were a huge undergound success and their CD's are being re-released. Also going for bucks on ebay.

I HATE metal - my hubby LOVES it -- and tomorrow night there is a metal band tribute thing going on at a place near us that he wants to go to -Here's the line up: ~Dime-Fest~ Tribute.to.Dimebag.Darrell **COWBOYS.N.HELL** (Pantera.tribute) **Recipe.For.Disaster** (Guns.&.Roses.tribute) **Kill.em.All** (Metallica.tribute) **Faceless*** (Godsmack.tribute) ...loud fast head banging bands...I will go. But I plan on drinking - A LOT. lol.

    Everytime of music drive a certain mood.

    Metal is great workout music!

    I have a scar above my right eye from getting hit in the face with a pipe at my first concert, which was slipknot. I got a back stage pass and signed drum head. Best night ever!
