Seriously I felt so bad my husband worked yesterday (Thurs) from 2pm and couldn't leave work until 9am this morning (Fri)
    :(

Wow I stepped away for an hour and you all partied this thread up! I am super screwed. I forgot and left my wallet at home an I don't have enough gas to make it home. I was told that by my bank that I could withdraw from an ATM without my card but I don't know if he knew what he was talking about. Then the gas station doesn't have the ability to key in the card manually, so they say. So I either have to wake my wife up at 5AM to bring me my wallet or I have to wait until 830 or 900AM when the bank opens. Mind you I get off work around 5:00 or 5:30 in the morning

I work 4 x 12 hour nights, then have 7 days off, then work 3 x 12 hour nights and have 3 or 4 off, then I go into a day shift rotation of the same, then back to nights. It would be better if it was straight nights... I'm really just a body in the office unless **** is going down. Daytime, I have to be nice to customers who call for other inquiries. Boohiss!

    My shifts run:
4pm-11am(which will be changing to 10 I hope)
    9:30pm-8am
    9:30pm-8:45am
    9:30pm-8:45am

Then like two and a half days off. (but this week it was like one day off) - Then I cover ER if they need it OI!

I think the worst part about this is it is always over the weekend AND I have insomnia, so when I am tired I can't sleep lol

Haha, my boyfriend is pretty jealous, as he works a M-F still. I don't think I could go back. It would definitely have growing pains. I don't get ANY vacation until I have been here like 8 years but with the 7 day stretches, it's not so bad. And I have to work holidays frequently without extra pay but it all balances out since they pay me 40hrs/week whether I am here or not, soooo.
