Hey
So anyone know how many calories are in a chicken fillet 150grams - results for this on the site seem to vary a lot by even up to 50 calories

Did it have the nutrition values on the package? All the chicken breasts I buy, have it on the back of the wrap.0

Also, skinless or did you eat the skin? The brands I use it comes out to about 165 calories for 150 grams, skinless.0

If you search for chicken in the database I always go for the option without the * before it. With chicken it gives different options depending on what cut it is and how you cook it, so 150g of chicken breast, roasted is 296 calories. Weirdly enough, the same amount of chicken fried is 281 calories, I would have expected it to be more!0

Yeah I was looking at that last night and thought I was going to get a headache. There are 5 different results for skinless grilled chicken breast, all with different values... I guess it's one of those things you have to estimate (I'm having some tonight and yep, just going to have to pick one).
Of course it's not going to be the same value raw or cooked etc either.0 -
To save the hassle... i weigh it out pre cooking and use the value on the pack uncooked every time... its about 1 calorie, or just over per gram.0

Was it raw? Was it grilled? Boiled? Baked? Roasted? Skin on? Skin off? Added dextrose? Added salt? Added water?

Most places that sell fresh chicken breasts don't give nutritional info on the label.0 -

So I have been checking chicken fillet labels in supermarkets and one brand will say 106kcal for 100g
Then another brand will be 146kcal for the same amount of chicken fillet
Both skinless , both look exactly the same
Am I missing something ? Shouldn't they all be the same?!0 -
Unfortunately Online the value for one ounce of chicken varies to a large degree.
For My purposes I took the "highest" value so that I wouldn't overeat and made my own private value.
Chicken is one of my "staples"
You can choose...
I saw really big variations on the following three sites:

The ingredients list and/or the description may help.
ETA: Check the description on the nutrition section too, the numbers may be for prepared chicken.0
