carb refeeding

have been smashing down so much food the last 36 hours I actually thought I'd enjoy eating subway, ice cream and sushi and pasta and stuff but I actually find it a little sickening and want to go back to fruit, vege and meat.

strange because before I started this new way of eating I used to love food like that

After many months of eating healthy, if I suddenly have a load of carb heavy foods, I feel lethargic and bloated...sometimes I fall asleep. I find that a good sign. :)

Is sushi bad? I love that stuff and always thought it was fairly healthy. My only problem is it doesn't fill me up, so I eat it like popcorn! :blushing:

Mmmm sushi! I've noticed I feel differently eating out too, I was worried at first about going out for dinner, but then thought WTH it's one day right? Halfway through my restaurant meals I feel so full though, and have been taking home leftovers! That's nothing short of a miracle for me! It's only been a couple of times, as I started less than 2 months ago, but I hope it continues. I'm not sure if it's because I'm really listening to my body now, and can/care to recognize hunger and fullness, or psychosomatic lol.
