Hi my baby is 8 weeks old and I have 27lbs left to lose. I have already lost 21lbs post birth from excess water, baby, placenta etc. Is anyone else in the same position as me and would they like to be weight loss buddies??

hi there...
my little girl will be a year old next month.....i really didn't get into "the groove" of losing the weight until she was about 4 months old.....she was born at the end of sept....then i had to wait the 8 weeks to start exercising and by that time, the holidays were here soooo.....
anywho....i gained appx. 50-55 pounds while i was pregnant.....i lost 20 right away (water, baby, etc.), but since then i have lost an additional 26 pounds....i have 5 pounds to go to be at the weight i was when i found out i was pregnant.
if you need advice.....make sure you drink LOTS of water.....if you don't already, it makes a major difference. i personally drink a gallon a day.
i also exercise 30-40 minutes a day....4-5 times a week, i TRY to watch what i eat.
feel free to send me a friend request if you would like.
good luck!!0 -

Hi, I'm Michelle and if you want a friend from across the globe feel free to add me.
My little boy is 6 months old now. I'm within 2kg of my pre-pregnancy weight but I think most of that is in my breasts (still breastfeeding). I'd like to lose 5-7kg and then I'll reassess.
What are people doing about the mummy tummy? I swear is it like an empty sack of potatos.0 -
Yeah my tummy has started toning up again but it is still baggy I have been doing strength training exercises combined with cardio to try bring my tummy down and loose the weight plus a calorie controlled diet with a ! Does anyone have any tips for stopping breasts sagging because of weight loss? Really don't want my boobs to go small and saggy0

I just had my daughter in May so she is 3 months old. I have lost 20 pounds of the 30 I gained but cannot fight off the last 10 pounds. Plus I would like to lose 15-20 pounds from there. My stomach is like a sack of potatoes from having two c-sections. I started the biggest loser videos, which I once lost 20 pounds from using. This time the weight loss is happening at a trickle for me. if you would like to add me, please feel free. I can use the motivation to lose the weight.0

My son will be 1 year old next month and I am still trying to lose the baby weight. I was able to get most of it off within the first 5 months but then I went back to work and the weight slowly crept back in. I gained 12 lbs in the last 6 months- boo!!
I belong to a great group of super-supportive mommas "Post-Partum Pack". Feel free to add me and/or join the group!0 -
Took me almost 18 years to lose the weight from the first pregnancy    :bigsmile:0

My little boy is 26 months and I've just about managed to lose 10 lbs in the last 6 months! I'm finding it very hard so any support would be welcome! It's so hard to fit in the exercise.
Mind you after the pregnancy I was fine, it was the next 6 months that were the problem. Life with a baby doesn't make healthy eating easy!0 -
Wish there was a way to delete my message on here....0

Does 18 months still count as post pregnancy? LOL
Lol that's what I wanna know too? Feel free to add me, I'm post post pregnancy but attempting finally to lose the weight from even before I was pregnant! I am almost down to pre-pregancy weight though. Now just need to lose more to be healthy again!0 -
did you have a csection? i am 9 weeks post and still finding it difficult to find time to exercize and when i do, it hurts my incision and i feel weak and tired
I was told by my doctor that not to push it if it hurts. My c-section scar didn't really heal properly until about 12 weeks - I pushed it too hard in the first few weeks after birth (housework etc). Slowly does it, don't rush, let it heal and you'll know when you're ready! My dr said it can take up to 6 months for the area to feel better so look after yours;f!0 -

My girl is 4 years old now.
Was extremely fit before pregnancy, however pregnancy didn't work well with me I was really ill and sore and miserable throughout the entire time, and then a mixture of health problems including my thyroid which has never calmed down after pregnancy, single motherhood and back problems not allowing me to re start fitness classes, stress, working all hours etc I got to a uk size 16 (was probably bigger) I used to be a uk size 8-10.
I decided it was time to stop feeling sorry for myself and whining about it all and actually do something about it.
Took a break for a few months and I re joined under a new account a few weeks ago.
Feel free to add me I'm on everyday and really committed to the weight loss and will offer support in return for support!
